Cosmologists are increasingly receptive to the idea that our universe is only one of many. This scientific multiverse theory is often presented as an alternative to divine design of a single universe. Do we need to view the multiverse as a challenge to religious belief? How might ancient and medieval thinkers help us reflect on cosmic multiplicity, diversity, and infinity? And how might we think about the relationship between science and religion in general? Join us for a dinner seminar led by Dr. Jamie Boulding (Witherspoon Institute).
