Oscar-, Tony-, and Olivier-winning playwright Sir Tom Stoppard’s play Leopoldstadt makes its American debut this spring at the historic Longacre Theatre. The play, which centers on a Jewish family in Vienna from 1899 to 1955, explores themes of identity, loss, and the Holocaust. Together with the Tikvah Fund, the Morningside Institute will lead a group of students to a Wednesday matinee performance of the play, with a discussion to follow afterwards.
